Germany’s oldest outdoor pool | Eschbachtal Outdoor Pool

In a picturesque forest location between Remscheid and Wermelskirchen, Eschbachtal outdoor pool has been offering the chance to jump into the cool water for over 100 years. Alongside a swimmers’ pool for swimming lengths and a non-swimmers’ pool to splash around in, the outdoor pool also offers its guests diving platforms, various water slides, a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground and a large area for sunbathing. The kiosk with its cafeteria is available if you get a little peckish. 

Good to know: Depending on the weather, the swimming season begins each May and ends in September. More information on the current opening hours can be found on the website.
