After it was founded in 1955, the company Fassbender exported almost everything that sells well around the world, from tools and Brussels sprouts to televisions. The business idea of importing umbrella parts was then finally born in 1962. At the time, FARE® already supplied frames and handles to many umbrella manufacturers in the DACH region. 

Its long-standing knowledge of the market now makes the family-run company one of the world’s leading umbrella specialists. The products are characterised by high-quality workmanship and longevity and the product range is constantly being adapted and further developed.

The FARE® factory outlet was brought to life as part of the regional event “Wirtschaft erleben” (Experience Business) in 2016. Since then, a seasonal range of models with special highlights and features and the most popular umbrellas in many colours have been offered at the premises at Remscheider Straße 169.
