Schloss Eichholz is located on the outskirts of Wesseling-Kendenich. The Gründerzeit manor house is of historical importance in its appearance and in parts of the interior room structure.
Schloss Eichholz in Wesseling has been an educational centre of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation e.V. since 1956 and as such is internationally known beyond the city limits of Wesseling. Since 2016, the castle has housed a trauma clinic.
In1166, the "neue[r] Hof neben Urfeld gelegen" was first mentioned in a document. Until secularisation in 1802, it belonged to the Benedictine monastery of Dietkirchen. After a fire around 1822, the farm was rebuilt and further extended in the years that followed.
