    Walk, play and relax in the Nordpark

    Wuppertal is known as a city surrounded by green space. The large number of park areas have a part to play here. The Nordpark, a 35 hectare site that has served as a local recreation area since 1895, is located in the north of Barmen. There are hiking trails through a beech forest, a game reserve with fallow deer, wide grassy areas for sunbathing, children's playgrounds, football pitches and more. The SkyWalk in the eastern part of the park offers a breathtaking view of the east of Wuppertal.
