Information for cyclists
The Tecklenburger Land is a very special exception in the Münsterland region: Here cyclists encounter the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest and thus also elevations in the otherwise flat Münsterland.
Unique experiences are also offered above all by the numerous themed cycle paths that wind through the magnificent landscape. The historic old town of Lengerich is a perfect stopover on a cycling tour through Münsterland. Many small shops and inns are wonderful for a little shopping and a leisurely break. The following themed routes run through Lengerich, right by the town church:
100 Castles Route, North Route
Peace Route
On the 4500 kilometre long Münsterland cycle route network, cyclists can experience the special features of this beautiful region. Everyone will find a suitable cycle route here.
