Variety, fun, and relaxation - the Dieffenbachtal outdoor swimming pool in Schleiden is just a few minutes' walk from the city center and is a popular recreational facility for the whole family in summer.
The Erlebnisfreibad Dieffenbach in Schleiden promises "every wave is fun." The heated outdoor pool features a swimming area and an adventure pool with a giant slide. The three large floor bubble makers in the swing bay quickly stir up the waves. The
guests can float in the lazy river or enjoy massages from the massage jets and whirl loungers.
While one children's pool tempts with water play devices, the other offers a slide and a water mushroom. The outdoor pool, maintained at a constant water temperature, is heated in an energy- and environmentally-friendly manner with a combined heat and power plant and solar panels on the roof. The large beach volleyball court and the street soccer field offer opportunities for movement and high fun factor away from the water. The quiet sunbathing lawn – with deck chairs and beach baskets available for rent – is perfect for sun lovers and a little time out. The kiosk provides guests with warm and cold snacks. A baby changing room is, of course, available. Parking is available directly at the entrance, but the outdoor pool can also be reached on foot in just a few minutes from the city center.
