Hippelsteinchen - Gönnersdorf

Geologically speaking, the "Hippelsteinchen" is a dolomite and mushroom rock. Several dolomite blocks are layerd on top of each other so that the rock formation resembles a mushroom, about 5 meters high and just as wide. It is possible that since ancient times the stone served as a border stone, probably even as a signpost and a plave of worship.
