The KaM e.V. association oversees the sculpture ensemble on Moltkeplatz in Essen's south-east district, which consists of seven permanent contemporary works by the artists Heinz Breloh, Hannes Forster, Gloria Friedmann, Lutz Fritsch, Friedrich Gräsel, Ansgar Nierhoff and Ulrich Rückriem. The ensemble was created in 1982 on the initiative of the Essen gallery owner Jochen Krüper († 2002).
In addition, since 2010 a temporary work by young artists has been exhibited on a rotating basis for one year at a time.
The association KaM e.V., founded by residents of the Moltkeviertel in 2006, has taken on responsibility for the maintenance, further development and information about the art location Moltkeplatz within the framework of sponsorship agreements and organises events in this context.
