Adult Education Centre Ahlen

In 1904, the town hall built by Johann Conrad Schlaun was demolished in Ahlen. By 1906, the new "Old Town Hall" had been built on the same site. After the administration moved to the new town hall in 1977, it lost its function. The adult education centre has been based in the old town hall since 1979. Its striking façade still characterises the city centre around the market square to this day.
