Museum of Local History in Hückeswagen Castle (closed)

The north wing of the castle in Hückeswagen is home to the local history museum, which is well worth a visit and showcases Bergisch domestic culture from the 18th and 19th centuries as well as typical Bergisch crafts. Medieval history is documented with documents and seals of the great counts and lords of the castle. Various historical films are shown on a modern video wall. The local history museum is unfortunately currently closed as it is being renovated over the next few years
