Kantiger Hermann

Hövelhof is home to a very special version of the Detmold Hermann monument - the Kantige Hermann.

Hövelhof is located in the Teutoburg Forest vacation region. The most famous landmark in this region is the Hermann Monument - 30 km from Hövelhof. In Hövelhof there is a three-meter-high sculpture that represents a modern version of Hermann. This sculpture is the result of a project by Hövelhof companies, their apprentices and other participants. In the center of Hövelhof, where the two long-distance cycle paths EmsRadweg and Europa-Radweg R1 meet, the sculpture shows cyclists the way to the Teutoburg Forest and the Hermann Monument in Detmold.
