With the open-air exhibition "Düsseldorf ️ Japan. The chronicle of a special connection", Visit Düsseldorf visualises the close relationship with the Japanese community. On 40 metres in the Old Town, visitors can experience key stages of this history - from the first Japanese companies to today's Japan Day. The exhibition is part of Japan Week 2025 and is embedded in a variety of cultural highlights such as the "Düsseldorf Sakura Challenge" with Nintendo, the design exhibition "Dezain Crush" or the podcast "Alle Rhein!". A must for anyone who wants to rediscover Düsseldorf or delve deeper into the city. On show from 19 May to the end of October 2025.
