Jogging Paderborn: Lippesee-Runde

The jogging circuit leads around Lake Lippe in an anti-clockwise direction. From the parking lot, you first pass the clubhouse of the SVPB sailing club, then the "Seemöwe" bistro with pedal boat rental and mini golf course. Walk past the former gravel works and across the village square of Sande to the outlet structure of Lake Lippe near the B 64, where you cross the pedestrian bridge.

Continue on the now asphalted path along the Lippe past Gut Lippesee to the junction with Nesthauser Straße. Turn left here and shortly afterwards pass the bridge over the Lippe. You cross a small wooded area, walk along the cycle path and playground and then across the large parking lot. The starting point is reached again shortly afterwards.

The circular route around Lake Lippe is very busy in good weather. Therefore, pay particular attention to cyclists!

In warm weather, simply take a short, refreshing dip in Lake Lippe after the tour! You walk right past the sandy beach at the "Eisklang" bistro.

Take the A 33 freeway to the PB-Schloß Neuhaus exit; then take the B 64 towards Delbrück or Rheda-Wiedenbrück. After about 3 kilometers (4th traffic light) turn right towards Sande / Sennelager. Follow Sennelagerstraße for a good 1 kilometer, then turn right into the parking lot at the DLRG station (also a camper van site). Parking lot at the DLRG station. There are usually plenty of parking spaces there. Parking is free of charge.

The city bus lines 4 and 9 (PaderSprinter) run between Paderborn and Paderborn-Sande, the destination stop is "Sande, Schule".
