On the nature park trails in Bielefeld, the dimension of "time" with its many facets can be experienced by nature and hiking enthusiasts.

Seeing the landscape with different eyes

The "NaturZeitReise" (NatureTimeTravel) enables nature and hiking enthusiasts to experience the dimension of "time" with its many facets in the natural and cultural landscape on six selected hiking trails in the Teutoburg Forest near Bielefeld.

"Time" includes the history of the landscape as it has been shaped and shaped by the people living here over the centuries, but also the natural cycle of plants and animals in the seasons and in their life phases. This also includes the "eventful" history of the earth, which gave rise to the Teutoburg Forest around 70 million years ago.

The trails are assigned themes that are brought into focus by "time windows" and "contemporary witnesses" during the hike.
