Wasser-Moor-Heide

The scenic tour starts at the parking lot to Donoperteich. Following the A2 signs, the lake appears on the right after just a few meters. With the lake behind us, we follow the left fork up the hill along the paddock until we turn left down a sandy path. Continuing along the stream, we soon reach the Hasselbach reservoir. Pass the refuge and turn right up the Kupferberg between the paddocks where there is an excellent view. After a short stretch of asphalt with the cemetery on our left, we turn right at the crossroads and then take the dirt road to the left. We continue up the hill between the fields in the direction of Schlepperhof. In the forest, we continue to the right at the crossroads until we turn left at the next T-junction. Now the path forks and we follow the left fork until we turn left again. At the next junction, we turn right and then right again. To reach the hillside moor in Hiddeser Bent, we now make a short detour along the path to the left and back on the same path. Following the path, we reach a crossroads which we follow straight ahead following the signs. At the end of the short path we can already see our starting point on the left, the Donoperteich, from where we take the same route back to the parking lot;
