The "Höhenflüge und Waldgeflüster" route starts at the Altes Mesem car park in Dülmen. From there, the tour heads north through the town centre. After a few kilometres, you reach the Welter Bach nature reserve, where you can admire a meadow landscape with Galloway cattle on green meadows. The route continues along the Roruper Holz to Hanrorup, where a short detour to the Weitberg viewing platform is worthwhile to enjoy the impressive panoramic view. The tour then leads to the former monastery complex of Karthaus, where visitors can admire the monastery church and interesting works of art from different eras.
