This cycle tour takes you through the diverse nature of the Eifel along the German-Belgian border. The nature experience is varied: along the Oleftalsperre dam in Germany and through the Rocherath hedgerow landscape in Belgium. A highlight is the small Bocksvenn with the mysterious "White Stone". The Weißer Stein viewing tower, the highest point in the Rhineland, offers an impressive panorama of the Eifel. You cross the border into Germany unnoticed and have completed the entire ascent. The last 12 km lead downhill through the Prether Bachtal valley along the Prether Bach stream back to Hellenthal.
The uniform signposting system consists of red junction signs and information signs at all important junctions and crossroads, providing a perfect orientation system along the way.
