Tried it? Got it! The hands-on exhibition for children, young people and families

In the former factories of the LVR Industrial Museum - and of course in the Müller cloth factory - there were many technical challenges to solve: How can heavy materials be transported, how can large machines be driven for production? What options are there for space-saving packaging and how does successful collaboration work? At Tried? Kapiert! museum visitors will find solutions at hands-on stations.

At the end of their visit to the exhibition, they build a large chain reaction together: using building blocks, cogwheels or rollers, visitors pass on an impulse over and over again - across the course of a marble run, different levels and distances. Did everything work? Then it ends with a loud bang.
