Minden summer pool

The summer pool is located in Johannsenstraße to the south of Minden city centre on the left bank of the Weser, where Hindenburgplatz used to be. The swimming pool is therefore close to the city centre and can be reached in around 500 metres from the city centre. The summer pool is located in the Weser meadows and is part of the Mindener Glacis. Right next door is the Weserstadion, a tennis court and numerous allotment gardens. The summer pool has a swimming pool with a 50-metre lane. A non-swimmers' pool measuring 25 by 40 metres with a slide and a baby paddling pool complete the bathing facilities. In summer, there is a large lawn and a changing room. The large swimming pool can also be accessed via a heated hall, which is connected to the pool by a water channel so that it can be used even when the weather is not so good.
