Breite Straße in Cologne has been home to Café Printen Schmitz since 1842, a family-run business with its roots in tradition. Now in its sixth generation, the master confectioners are renewing the spirit of the café by combining old family recipes with new creations. Whether savoury breakfasts, homemade lasagnas or classic sweet pastries, the diversity of the offer reflects the café's openness to cultivating traditions while enriching the modern culinary scene.
