The medieval town rampart forms a thriving ribbon around Höxter's old town. Creatively designed new playgrounds make the town ramparts a centre of attraction for families with children. The area around the monument to the Germanist Hoffmann von Fallersleben, the poet of the German national anthem, which was redesigned as part of the State Garden Show Höxter 2023, invites you to linger.
The area of the ramparts is used by Huxarium Gartenpark Höxter as an event area for various events.
